AT A GLANCE

Permissive, alternative and easy going, Sarah Gray offers you a journey of awakening the spine through yoga, restorative rest and experimental movement. The morning practice sessions last one hour and are open to all.

The benefits: Calming, grounding, boosting creativity, creating more choice and easefulness in everyday life.

IN DETAIL

The spine is our core sense of self. The story of our spine is filled with meaning and a quiet spine brings a sense of comfort and wellbeing. Through the course, we work sensitively to reduce pain and increase the flexibility of the spine and therefore the whole body. We explore both rest and activity with an attentive curiosity and responsivity to our sensibilities promoting healthy movement and alignment on and off the mat.

“You only have to let the soft animal of your body

love what it loves.” - Mary Oliver

Sarah blends a number of approaches that are simple but radical in their invitation - to be in the present moment fully - bringing calm, clarity, cooling of the brain, heightening receptivity of sensation and sense-making.

Her classes hold a space and time for you to reconnect with your self so you may better connect with an other. We use meditation and breathwork, poetry, music and singing bowls, for shifting consciousness. We may share creative practice like mark making, writing and performance as well as exploring going outdoors for wellbeing benefits.
